If your tablet will not connect to the internet, or seems to connect for some things and not others, please try the following steps:
- On the desktop, double tap the icon 'School Internet'
- Tap 'yes' to allow app to make changes to the internet
- Type '3' and press enter.
- (You may need to type 4 to exit)
- Re-boot the tablet and try again
If there are still issues, try the following:
- From the desktop tap 'Action centre' OR swipe in from the right
- Within the action center tap 'All settings'
- In the 'Find settings box' type 'device manager'
- Tap on 'Device manager' in the list below
- Within device manager locate 'Network adapters'
- Tap on the > to the left of the word Network to expand
- Tap on 'Realtech RTL87 etc' so it is highlighted
- At the top of the window tap the red cross
- Confirm device uninstall - - tap OK
- At the top of the screen, tap the icon at the far right hand side directly under where it says 'File Action View help. This icon looks like light blue TV screen
- The screen will flash a few times. Once it has settled down, restart the tablet and try to connect to the internet again.
Please note that the steps above will result in your tablet 'forgetting' any previously remembered passwords!
